Spain star out for the count during cup tie
With the tragic death of Sevilla’s Antonio Puerta last year still fresh in the memories of Spain’s football fraternity, there was inevitably a lot of concern when Real Madrid midfielder Ruben de la Red collapsed during last night’s Copa del Rey tie with Real Union. Thankfully a trip to the local hospital revealed that low blood pressure and not anything more serious had caused the Spain international to faint.
