Lobby for police charges against Chris Morgan
An online petition has been launched calling on the police and the FA to take action against Sheffield United defender Chris Morgan following the incident which left Barnsley’s Iain Hume in hospital with a fractured skull.
The petition reads: “We, the undersigned, wish to express our disgust at Chris Morgan’s assault on Iain Hume during the Barnsley v Sheffield United fixture at Oakwell on 8/11/08. and call upon South Yorkshire Police and the Football Association to bring charges against him.”
