Team-mate reveals real reason for bus journeys
Robinho’s bus trips around Manchester are nothing to do with concern for the environment or the Brazilian’s thrifty nature - he is just terrified of driving on the other side of the road. That is according to his Manchester City team-mate and compatriot Jo.
The former (and possibly soon-to-be current) CSKA Moscow striker said: “I’ll tell you why Robinho got the bus. It’s because he hasn’t learned how to drive on the left-hand side of the road yet. He only knows how to drive on the right.”
That means Robinho joins the esteemed company of William Gallas and Luke Young - fellow footballers uneasy about being placed on the left flank!
