Cruelly jumping out of the Beeb’s football page to fans of lowly Eastleigh will be the headline: “Spitfires bring in Carew on loan.” Unfortunately for the non-leaguers, the headline refers to Barnet bit-part player Ashley, rather than Aston Villa poacher John.
Was Ashley Carew’s loan move from Barnet really the biggest League Two news of the day? I suspect not. C’mon, BBC, you’re messing with the emotions of hundreds of people here!
Unforgivable, hehe. People becomes tired or stupid sometimes.
