Last night’s CIS Insurance Cup semi-final between Celtic and Dundee United reached a dramatic conclusion in front of a packed Hampden Park (snigger) with the Bhoys sneaking through with an 11-10 victory on penalties. Both keepers were called into action from the penalty spot.
Boruc’s cool effort was the undoubted highlight. Celtic-target Willo Flood then fired over the bar allowing Scott McDonald to convert the winning spot-kick. See McDonald’s winner after the jump…
