Andrei Arshavin completes move to Arsenal

Andrei Arshavin sneaked into the Emirates Stadium last narrowly avoiding getting one of his feet stuck in the closing transfer window. The Russia international’s move to Arsenal went down to the wire but an announcement is expected later to day to confirm that it was completed in time.
A Zenit St Peterburg spokesman Alexei Petrov said: “The deal was signed for three years, all financial details will be disclosed tomorrow.”
The deal is thought to total £15 million, including various add-ons.
