Swansea City want to beat Fulham to qualify for the Champions League final

It’s not as far-fetched as it sounds!

Swansea City’s players have an extra incentive to knock Premier League opponents out of the FA Cup tomorrow - a place at the Champions League final. The Championship side have set up a rewards system to ensure their players never take their eye of the ball.

Striker Leon Britton told The Sun: “The best player in training and on the pitch gets a point — and the player with the most at the end of the season gets two tickets to the Champions League final. It’s a great incentive, something a bit different to keep everything at the club a bit lively.”

So victory against Fulham is just another point gained in the race to Rome!

Swansea were really impressive in their draw against Fulham the first time round, and in fact they looked the better side, with Fulham struggling to contain them. This time round I think the same issues will apply, and with Fulham having fitness doubts since this game comes just 2 days after their last against West Brom, surely Swansea will have the advantage.
