Alan Pardew says sorry for rape incident

Michael Essien neither raped nor raked Ched Evans

After Sunday night’s MOTD2 rape fiasco, ex-Charlton boss and presumably ex-BBC pundit Alan Pardew has issued an apology.
A statement released by the Beeb said: “Alan Pardew apologises unconditionally for any offence caused by remarks he made in the Match of the Day 2 programme last night.”
The BBC also covered their own backs over the incident, claiming there was no immediate apology because all their production team thought Pardew said that Michael Essien “absolutely rakes him” while discussing a challenge with Ched Evans.
There was no confirmation on whether Pardew would be invited back to the show. OTP doesn’t really mind because we don’t rape/rake/rate him that highly as a pundit.
