Paul Scholes is the anti-modern footballer. It is well-known that he shuns a celebrity lifestyle, preferring the quiet life with his family when he isn’t busy on Manchester United business. Imagine OTP’s surprise then to read that Scholesy had spent £100,000 on a bit of a knees-up.
But this was no Man Yoo Christmas party. The ex-England midfielder arranged the bash for his tenth wedding anniversary and renewed his vows to wife Claire at the do. Bless. Although, if you are spending six-figure sums, Paul, it might be worth spending that bit extra so you don’t have to have an X-Factor loser providing the entertainment!
