Zlatan Ibrahimovic takes delivery of his new Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly

Inter and United’s battle of the boots

Nike have chosen tonight’s Champions League match between Manchester United and Inter Milan to launch their Mercurial Vapor Superfly boot. Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be sporting the new footwear at Old Trafford tonight.

The video above shows the boot going through the manufacturing process and being delivered to Ibra so that he can take them out for a test drive. Apparently, all the boots are made by hand by some Italian guy with a love of sewing machines, and not a seven-year-old kid in Indonesia as we had suspected.

I always remember saying to a lad who played in my team, who bought some predators! It’s not what’s on the outside of the boot that counts! It’s what’s on the inside!!
