Fergie flails arms, effs and blinds, and goes purple
As alluded to in our Top 10 conclusions, Fergie was not best pleased when United were not awarded a penalty for Phil Jagielka’s trip on Danny Welbeck in yesterday’s FA Cup semi-final. In fact, he went mental (and purple).
On the one hand, yes it probably was a penalty. On the other hand, based on the shootout it probably wouldn’t have been much use to United anyway!
