Turkish chocolate bars’ viral budgets are not as big as Nike’s

Ooh, look how hard he strikes the ball

Every man and his dog knows that if you can get a funny viral doing the rounds on websites like Off The Post then you are on to a good thing. Unfortunately, the advertising team behind Turkish chocolate bar Metro don’t have the money to spend on expensive computer graphics.

So they brought in Besiktas’ Yusuf Şimşek to show off the power he puts in a seemingly pretty tame shot by bending the goalpost (that’s the goalpost that you don’t see at any point before that). Being a thoroughly nice chap he then knocks the post back into shape.

We’re not sure if the shaky-cam was a deliberate attempt at getting that viral feel right or if they just couldn’t afford a proper cameraman after buying a bent post!

I would also question the physics. Why would the inside part of the post bend like that when the shot came from the outside? They are behind in the viral world!!
