West Brom fans’ mask tribute to Tony Mowbray

Putting on a brave face for relegation

OTP told you about West Brom fans’ plan to wear Tony Mowbray masks for yesterday’s trip to Blackburn Rovers. The already doomed Baggies took the decision to don their manager’s face as a show of solidarity.

Not every single fan took up the offer of a mask, and some chose to wear them as jaunty caps but it still makes for a pretty disturbing sight!

And seemingly inspired by the words of Craig Hignett in their local paper, Blackburn fans retaliated (if that’s the right word) with Tugay masks. See them after the jump.

  1. Martin says:

So does this mean that both Tony Mowbray and Tudgay will both be brought in for questioning for 46 cases of alleged assault, 29 cases of vandalism, 12 cases of cow tipping and 3 cases of rape?
