This classic clip comes from a 1986 European Cup Winners’ Cup clash between Dynamo Kiev and Atletico Madrid. The match is briefly held up early in the second half when a chicken decides to launch a pitch invasion. Ah, the days when you could take your chicken along to the match…
Anyhow, enjoys the bizarre attempts of players from both teams to detain the culprit.
I shudder to think what would’ve happened if that was a rugby match.

The rugby players would have quite a bit of fun. A ruck with a living chicken as the ball would add a nice twist!
