Video: Swedish goalkeeper’s literally moves the goalposts

A blatant attempt to con the referee
If you think the Premier League is full of cheats and players setting out to con the referee, perhaps you should divert your attention to the Swedish League.
Never mind players diving or playacting - some of the more conventional ways to cheat as far as a footballer is concerned - the IFK Gothenburg goalkeeper has gone one step better. Kim Christensen took matters into his own hands to try to ensure victory for his side by moving the goal posts… literally.
The game was held up after referee Stefan Johannesson discovered the cheating 20 minutes into the match. The goalposts were returned to their rightful position.
Partly thanks to Christensen’s attempts, the game remained goalless and one can only suspect the Swedish FA might be wanting a chunk of his next pay packet.

Clever. I thought most goalposts went down into the ground? Is that not so anymore?
yea they do but apparently not in sweeden. still a gd effort by the keeper
I was going to say “what difference does a couple of inches make?” but then I remembered I was a Chelsea fan.
Not that it matters at all, but the keeper is actually Danish. He says it’s an old trick that keepers have been doing for a long time (along with some strikers kicking the goalposts the other way) and that the real problem here really is that the goalposts don’t go into the ground.
