Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs plans to watch Arsenal

Uh, where’s Highbury gone?
Ronnie Biggs’ health has improved so much since his release from prison that he is planning a trip to watch Arsenal. The Gunners fan hasn’t seen his team play live since being convicted of his part in the Great Train Robbery in the 1960s.
The 80-year-old was given compassionate release from jail in August when he was thought to be gravely ill with pneumonia and MRSA.
But his miraculous recovery has made him eager to see Arsenal one last time.
Biggs, who can’t speak after a series of strokes, told The Sun through his spelling board: “I haven’t seen Arsenal live since the early 1960s. I think I’m strong enough to watch them one last time. I’d love to see the new stadium.”
Arsenal are far too good for him. Could we send him to watch Millwall, but in a west ham shirt?
