Manchester City’s squad got an unexpected meeting with owner Sheikh Mansour when he paid a surprise visit to a training session. City’s squad - minus those on international duty - are in Abu Dhabi to play a friendly against the United Arab Emirates national team.
Acutely aware of where his payslip comes from, Mark Hughes said: “Ever since Sheikh Mansour’s involvement, the club has only gone in one direction. We will always be grateful for that.”
