This goalie thought he could give his side, Hartford, the edge in their penalty shootout against Stony Brook Sea Wolves by rolling out his party trick. The crazy keeper cartwheeled back and forth along his goal-line as the opposition prepared to take their spot-kicks.
Unfortunately for him the antics had little effect, and one of Stony Brook’s players unveiled a cartwheel celebration in retaliation. That didn’t deter him though, and he continued to cartwheel before subsequent penalties.
His opposite number tried an alternative tactic of shaking the frame of the goal before the kicks, which appears to have been more effective. See the full shootout after the jump.

I love when footballers display their most mature side when they clearly know that all eyes are on them. Brave boys, bravo.

Get back to your poor mans rugby or ‘Handegg’ as the rest of the world calls it. Play your rounders to your hearts content but just one thing when you hold a “World Championships’ in a sport, it might be nice to invite other countries one day.
