Jamie Carragher doesn’t know how old his son is

But he knows he wants to take him to Wembley

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher managed to turn a simple interview with FIFA’s website into a family row after forgetting his son’s age. Carra was saying how much he would love to play at Wembley and take his son along when he decided to mention his son’s age.

He said: “I’ve been to Cardiff a few times, but I’d love to get to Wembley. My son is six or seven years old and I’d love to take him to Wembley to watch Liverpool.”

Way to keep your options open, Jamie.

Now we know why footballers get important dates tattooed on their body! In Carragher’s defence, he did miss the birth because Liverpool were playing away at Basel. That means young James was born in November 2002 and is, in fact, seven.
