Arsene Wenger reveals his handball drills
Republic of Ireland fans can allow themselves a wry smile after Arsene Wenger revealed that he trains his players to handle the ball. The Arsenal boss was speaking after Saturday’s match against Everton when midfielder Denilson did his best dying swan impression while in possession.
The Toffees’ Tim Cahill sportingly kicked the ball out of play, but Wenger does not want his players to rely on good-natured opponents.
He said: “I told him, ‘If that happens, you have to commit a handball’. If you go down, and there hasn’t been a foul, you cannot ask Everton to stop their counter attack. So at least put your hand on the ball and it’s a free-kick.”
Presumably he told Henry the same thing about the ball flying past you and going for a goal-kick.

firstly, there was no sporting kicking the ball out of play and Everton ran on goal and Almunia saved. Secondly this is spurious shite stirring at best as the handball comment from Wenger makes smart football sense and has nothing to do with cheating or handling in the box. You must be a Spurs fan.
Do you realise that quite a lot of the posts on this site use sarcasm to get the point across,,,,, so take a chill pill!!
