Video: Inter Milan’s Cristian Chivu fractures his skull

Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu is in hospital and requires an operation after fracturing his skull in a clash of heads with Chievo’s Sergio Pellissier. The Romanian will require an operation.
Inter boss Jose Mourinho said: “I hope he will be back as soon as possible, but I think he will be out of action for some time.”
Knowing what we know now, watching the medical staff poke their fingers around his fractured skull is not entirely pleasant.
