The universe continues its revenge on Robbie Savage
Swansea’s Gorka Pintado must have decided that it was best to get that leg-breaking challenge out of his system on somebody which most neutrals would be unlikely to shed a tear for. While Robbie Savage might fit the bill perfectly, his Derby team-mates were not very impressed and piled in to what became a pretty big case of handbags.
However, just as cutting as Pintado’s challenge was Savage’s appraisal of Liverpool at the end of his BBC Radio Five Live commentary yesterday: “As we watch the Liverpool players warming down at Eastlands, that’s as quick as a few of them have moved all day.”
