Ossie’s dreaming of Inverness job

We thought we would celebrate the news that Ossie Ardiles has applied for the vacant Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager’s post by bringing you a bit of Chas and Dave’s Ossie’s Dream FA Cup song from 1981.

Ardiles said: “I don’t know a lot about them, but I’ve been in this kind of situation before. A manager has to learn quickly about the strengths of his players and make the necessary changes. I have confidence in myself but we’ll just have to wait and see. The ball is not in my court.”

For someone who could not even pronounce Tottingham correctly, plotting your comeback with Inverness Caledonian Thistle is a pretty bold move!

Ardiles is probably one of the least successful managers in the history of football, so he’ll fit in well at Inverness.
