Are Frank Lampard and Jose Mourinho setting up a love shack together?
Maybe we are reading too much into this, but I find that very hard to believe. On the same day that the News of the World reveals that Frank Lampard has been dumped by fiancee Elen Rives, Jose Mourinho paves the way for a return to Chelsea in the same newspaper.
And what was Mourinho’s main priority when he took over at Inter Milan? Attempting to reunite himself with Lampard for an Italian romance, of course. Remember those gushing quote? Like this one: “Frank Lampard is a different kind of person, not so extroverted. He’s the best professional I’ve ever worked with. He’s the player who trains better, has more concentration, more commitment and is always focused on himself.
“He is never happy about his performance, always wants to improve, and always wants to learn. If he makes a mistake in a game, the next day in training he wants to stay one more hour to practise exactly that situation.”
But now Elen is out of the way, there is no need to go to Milan. They can be together in west London again. Just like the good old days.
