You’d think they’d have better things to do, but not so

The bullies from the Premier League have been threatening yet another blog over content they did not like via its cyber bailiff NetResult. Our good friends over at The Offside committed that most heinous of crimes: using football club crests. We tried to warn them, but they wouldn’t listen. They just recklessly put those logos on their site and watched the money roll in.

What do you mean ‘what money’? You know, all that money that you get when you put football club crests on your site. I’m going to be rich, rich beyond my wildest dreams!

The Premier League might like to consider that, while it is on the gravy train at the minute, these things tend to pass. Serie A was in fashion for a while, now it struggles to get a UK television deal. Then La Liga was the best league in the world. Premier League, by all means enjoy your turn but trampling all over the little people isn’t going to stand you in good stead in the long-term.
