Nasty Tigers try to besmirch Spaniard’s good name

Of course he did it: he’s wearing a hoodie! Sorry I think someone left the site in Daily Mail mode – back to the matter in hand. Angelic Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been accused of spitting at Hull City assistant manager Brian Horton during last night’s controversial FA Cup victory for the Gunners.

Hull boss Phil Brown said: “I was there, I witnessed it. Fabregas spat at our assistant manager. That’s their club captain. Hopefully he’s proud of himself. He spat at his feet.”

The Villainous Hood defended his reputation by denying spitting and denying knowing what Hull’s assistant manager looked like.

He said: “I absolutely and categorically deny I spat at anyone and I cannot understand why Hull are making these accusations against me. I have never spat at anyone in my life. It is a disgusting habit. Why would I do something like that after a match I was not even playing in?”

Heart-rending stuff, but quite literally a load of Ballacks. For Chelsea midfielder, Michael, will confirm to anyone who asks that Cesc is being quite liberal in his use of the word “never” (and the words “spat at anyone in my life” for that matter).
