Match of the Day commentator Simon Brotherton probably wasn’t too concerned when he suffered a bout of verbal diarrhoea about the Arsenal captaincy as Arsene Wenger’s men passed the ball around the defence. These things can be edited out of highlights packages after all. Sadly for Brotherton, no sooner had he finished talking rubbish than the ball was in Blackburn’s net.
