Gareth Bale’s tri-panelled hairdo has apparently seen him become an easy target for a bit of banter from the Spurs staff. But amid suggestions that a trip to the barber might help the young Welshman concentrate on his football rather than the precisely gelled position of every single lock of hair, Bale let the real reason for his look slip out.
He said: “I can’t do that. It covers my ears, and my ears are too big.”
Ah, he does have a point!
