The dog’s frolics
You just don’t get as many dogs on the pitch in English games anymore, do you? Fortunately, the old school football tradition is alive and kicking in Lithuania. The match between Žalgiris and Mažeikiai on Sunday was briefly held up when a cheeky pup made his way onto the field of play intent on hurdling the football.
Once he has had his 15 seconds of fame, the mutt gives himself up quietly by allowing himself to be restrained by a linesman until security arrives. To be fair, I wouldn’t fancy putting up much of a fight with that security man!
Is that a microphone in the dog’s mouth? Answers on a postcard please.
