Dirty defender set for therapy
Hearts are considering sending defender Marius Zaliukas on an anger management course after he received his fourth red card of the season against Aberdeen on Tuesday night.

The automatic five-match suspension will take the Lithuanian up to 18 games missed through suspension this season!

Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo said: “After he was sent off against Falkirk for punching a player, he came to me saying he was disappointed with his attitude and he apologised to the team, the sport director and everybody for losing his head.

“But now he has done the same again – he lost his head, his brain his discipline. We must look to help him, not only punish him, so he doesn’t do it ever again.

“We can’t always just tell him he will be punished. Now we have to do something special. He must stop making the same mistakes. The club has stayed behind Marius but now he must show character to take our help.”

His red cards have been for:

  • Violent conduct for kicking Aberdeen’s Chris Maguire
  • Violent conduct for punching Falkirk’s Carl Finnigan
  • Violent conduct for aiming a headbutt at Aberdeen’s Lee Miller
  • Professional foul for hauling down Celtic’s Scott McDonald
  • At least he varies his method of assault a bit!

    • Zekky

A poor man’s Joey Barton – not worth the trouble.
