Arsene Wenger admits he sometimes sees the things he says he doesn’t see

Arsenal boss is not partially sighted after all, just a liar

Arsene Wenger has finally admitted that his well-worn ‘I didn’t see eet’ routine is an act put on to protect his players. OTP has long suspected that Wenger’s view could not have been blocked for every single foul ever committed by an Arsenal player. The Frenchman has now admitted that his eyesight is better than he suggested.

He said: “Sometimes I see it but I say that I didn’t see it to protect the players and because I could not find any rational explanation for what they did.”

In future, we reckon he should just repeat that candid line whenever he is quizzed on his players’ misdemeanours.

Wenger added: “This is a job where you have to have an optimistic view of human nature or you become paranoid. You always have to think that a guy wants to do well.”

Well, generating optimistic views is what he does best! Anyone got on theories as to why the Professor is ‘fessing up to this on the eve of the new season?
