Bagpipes, champagne, Prince Harry and a £105,000 bar tab…

… it’s Salomon Kalou’s birthday party, of course!

Chelsea players ran up a £105,000 bill at London’s Whisky Mist nightclub for Salomon Kalou’s 24th birthday party last night.

According to the Mirror, the players “worked their way through 20 bottles of vodka, 10 bottles of Jack Daniels, a £5,000 Jeroboam of Cristal and four £400 Quaich Trophy cocktails – the club’s signature drink, served in a giant, 18th century silver solid cup”.

At midnight a bagpiper emerged to play Happy Birthday for the Ivory Coast international, reportedly prompting one Chelsea star to burst into a Highland jig.

Kalou’s WAG Najah Wakil organised the surprise bash in the club’s VIP section. A sober John Terry, Michael Ballack, Didier Drogba and Michael Essien were among those in attendance.

Although not on the invite list, Prince Harry was in the club at the same time and sent a congratulatory bottle of champagne to Kalou.

The sort of money to make your eyes water, eh?

How can that add up to something even near £105 000? I want to know where the other 95 000 went.
