Blues find their first way of circumnavigating the rules

Chelsea have beaten their transfer ban to sign Croatian goalkeeper Matej Delac, according to the player’s current club. A deal has been struck which will see the 17-year-old remain with Inter Zapresic until 2011 with Chelsea paying his wages.

Delac will reportedly travel to the UK whenever possible to train with his new club. He will then join Chelsea on a five-year contract as soon as Chelsea’s transfer ban over the Gael Kakuta saga expires or is overturned.

Zapresic sporting director Branko Laljak said: “This deal will save us from bankruptcy. We are proud to have sold one of our players to one of the strongest clubs in the world.”

Good to see Chelsea finding a way around this absurd ban, dreamt up by an impotent, little demagogue. I’d like to know what other clubs around Europe are being investigated for this sort of behavior. Other than Man United, probably nobody. Typical rubbish from whiny Platini who wants Hadjuk Split to win the champions league.
