You could have fooled us!
England and Chelsea captain John Terry and Fulham’s Bobby Zamora are best chums. Despite their clubs’ rivalry, the pair are such good pals that they like nothing more than to escape the high life, and enjoy a spot of fishing together.
Both players have revealed they use fishing to relax and help improve their game.
Terry said: “I really got into fishing when I was younger and would spend hours attempting to make the elusive big catch. Obviously it’s more difficult to find the time these days but when I get a quiet moment I tend to go off, rod in hand.
“I can sit there for hours, turn my mobile off and watch the world go by. I also have a great laugh and often go with Bobby Zamora from Fulham. My biggest catch is a 28lb carp, but over the years I’ve landed a few decent size fish.”
Can life on the riverbank take the blame for Zamora’s horrendous miss against Manchester City at the weekend?
