Phil Brown is ‘childish’ and ‘pathetic’

So says Caleb Folan

Hull boss Phil Brown has been labelled ‘childish’ by striker Caleb Folan. The Republic of Ireland international has spoken out over comments made by Brown before Folan was loaned to Middlesbrough.

The Tigers’ manager questioned Folan’s attitude and ability to play in the Premier League. But the player says the comments were ‘pathetic’.

Folan said: “I have done nothing but perform to my best every day I have been at Hull. Every day I was there I have probably been the best trainer, so for him to come out with comments like that, it was quite embarrassing really.

“It is just childish, pathetic and laughable. It’s very strange because it’s a good set-up there – I just think they are not being managed in the right way.”

“It was difficult to hear, but that is his kind of way and if he wants to come out with stupid comments like that then let him be. Most importantly for him, he needs to concentrate on managing the team as a team.

“They are not doing very well and comments like that to the Press are not on – not for players who worked hard in the time they were there, and people know that.”

OTP doesn’t know the ins-and-outs of this spat but we know we are on Caleb Folan’s side!

So I suppose Folan is all but signed for ‘Boro this January since his loan hasn’t been terminated with this injury and he’s moaning about Brown.
