Open goal, one yard out, and he misses
Harrow Borough journeyman Rocky Baptiste produced arguably the worst miss of all time against Waltham Abbey. The striker, previously most famous for his FA Cup goal against Liverpool for Havant and Waterlooville, made a pig’s ear of this chance – despite the fact he was virtually standing on the goal-line.
With the keeper beaten and no defenders around Baptiste almost ran the ball into the net before managing to blast the ball wide!
