Darren Bent quits Twitter to avoid distraction

Sunderland striker is a qwitter

Darren Bent has become so enthralled in the Twitter craze that he’s had to call it a day. He revealed he has quit the social networking site to concentrate on his football. Glad to here you got your priorities right, Darren.

The Sunderland striker had fought hard to get more than 15,000 followers who have been left bitterly disappointed that they can no longer keep up to date with the former Spurs man’s latest video game achievements.

Bent withdrew his profile earlier this week.

He said: “I had a good chat with the manager recently and I just thought that, with the run we’re on at the moment, I needed to get rid of the distractions.

“I have to solely focus on getting Sunderland out of the relegation battle and I have shut the Twitter down. I don’t even go on it any more to look at what other people are posting.

“It became a distraction I didn’t need. I thought I would fully concentrate on the football.”

Nice try Darren. Saying that he quit Twitter to concentrate on football was a good bluff.

Probably had something to do with being exposed as a cheat with girls.

He wanted to avoid having his name dragged in the mud like terry and Cole.

He has been going out with a girl at the same time as Carlton Cole and Marvin brown and had been rumbled.

Plus he has been with numerous otheer girls and spoils the loives

Why not just admit the truth?

He acts all nice and smiley but deep down he treats girls like rubbish.

it’s not on and I won’t let him get away with ruining people’s lives
