Men in their forties squabbling like little girls
Tensions were running high as Manchester City watched Champions League football slip further away with another poor result. With his side 2-0 to Everton in injury time, City boss Roberto Mancini took it upon himself to shove Toffees’ manager David Moyes.
Moyes, who was holding the ball as he tried to get substitute Joseph Yobo onto the pitch, squared up to the Italian. Referee Peter Walton sent them both to the stands.
Mancini later said: “I speak to David and if I make a mistake I am sorry. I only wanted to get the ball back as there was five minutes to the end.”
