Guaratinguetá’s Diego Dedon is currently nursing a sore head for no good reason after some goal-line heroics in vain. The Brazilian Serie B player slid in to stop opponents Vila Nova scoring. Realising that the ball might be about to spin over the line regardless, he attempted to head the ball away despite being flat on the ground at the time.
Team-mate Everton was on hand to assist with the clearance. Unfortunately, he took a massive chunk of Dedon’s head as well and knocked him out.
To add salt to the wound, the ball was bundled into the net anyway!
