Cardiff City fans had to use their imagination to get a shirt personalised with the name of their new hero after the club shop ran out of the letter Y and number 9. Determined (if far from thrifty) fans unable to get their desired ‘BELLAMY 39’ shirt settled instead for ones saying ‘BELLAM 3’.
At this time, OTP’s thoughts are with Cardiff City number 9 Jay Bothroyd. Not only has he never caused such a rush that the ‘Y’s or ‘9’s ran out, but he also knows his fans cannot get shirts with his name on after Bellamy made this impossible. So hang in there, BOTHROD.
