Brazilian Edmar does a Zola in the Europa League

A Brazilian wonder goal you might otherwise not see

I accept that this isn’t exactly “Brazilian scores skillful goal shock horror”. Hey, they have been doing it for decades. But ten and a half years after Italian magician Gianfranco Zola scored a cheeky flick from a corner against Norwich, Edmar of Metalist Kharkiv scored a delightful effort in his team’s 5-0 away win to Debrecen.

So, average midfielder leaves his home country to try and gain some notoriety and scores great goal after two years. Over to you Lucas… Oh no wait, fair play

    Ten and a half?

    Try seven and a half!
