Is Roy Hodgson about to commit the cardinal sin of Liverpool managers?
Woy wants to sign a player called Traore
Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson could be set to follow in the footsteps of Gerard Houllier by bringing Traore to Anfield. Houllier signed disaster prone defender Djimi Traore for £500,000 in 1999, whereas Woy has got his eye on Cluj forward Lacina Traore.
The 6ft 8in Ivorian would set the Reds back £12 million. The 20-year-old has been a huge (in many ways) hit in Romania, reportedly convincing Hodgson to bring the great Traore name back to Merseyside.
Djimi was recently named in OTP’s Top 10 worst Liverpool players.
