Chicharito experiences road rage, country style

Manchester United’s midweek hero Javier Hernandez nearly found himself in a ditch with a smashed up car after a heated stand-off with a farmer.

The Mexican international was taking a shortcut to United’s Carrington training ground when he met a tractor on the single-track road. Being an arrogant Premier League footballer, the 22-year-old expected the farmer to shift out of his way. But he literally had to back down when he realised the tractor would probably come off better than his 4×4 in a scrap.

Youth team boss Brian McClair told the club magazine: “It’s a single track road with ditches on either side. The farmer had right of way but Chicharito was not for reversing, until the tractor was about to drive over his car.

“He finally decided to retreat, nearly ending up in the ditch and then up a telegraph pole. The farmer was not amused.”

OTP cannot confirm that the car above is the same as the one driven by Little Pea, but we would like to think so.

Being an ‘Arrogant Premiership Footballer’ or being a Mexican that is new to this country and has probably never come across a tractor on a small road before in his life?
