Well, sort of

Italian police have captured the ringleader of the hooligan activity which led to Italy’s Euro 2012 qualifying match against Serbia being abandoned on Tuesday night. Officers found 30-year-old Ivan Bogdanov stowed away in the luggage compartment of a coach carrying Serbian supporters.

You will recall Bogdanov as the balaclava-clad man pictured cutting nets at the stadium. You might also recall that we questioned the logic of wearing a balaclava but leaving your very distinctive tattoos on display.

It turns out OTP might have a future career in Italian law enforcement because that’s precisely how they tracked Bogdanov down. The footage above shows officers herding supporters off the coach and making them take their tops off so that ink levels on their arms can be checked.

All in a day’s work for OTP!
