England youngster Jack Wilshere has received a police caution following a scrap outside a nightclub. Wilshere was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in August after an incident in Kensington High Street, London.
Wilshere must have feared the worst when one of his friends was charged with actual bodily harm and assault earlier this week, while another friend was charged with affray. But the Arsenal star’s caution represents the end of the matter for him personally.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “An 18-year-old male has attended a West London police station where he received a caution for common assault.”
