Coaxing nonsense from the footballing woodwork

That’s right, OTP fans, from now on the site is going to be performing for you aurally. Next Wednesday will see the launch of our brand spanking new Off The Post Podcast.

Our podcast team of Ben, Alex, Paddy and Stuart will be providing weekly audio slabs of OTP for your listening pleasure. They will be churning out the same football nonsense you have come to know and love from OTP in the written form.

You will be able to play the podcast in the sidebar while you peruse the site as normal or download it from iTunes to listen to at your leisure (you will have to wait for the first podcast proper next Wednesday to subscribe though).

Each pod will be accompanied by a blog to help you to keep up with all the drivel being discussed. Below is a little teaser episode for you. Don’t forget to visit the Podcast page to find out a bit more about the team and to get all the latest Podcast developments.

I’ll give it a listen, it’ll be interesting to see how this matches up against the other football podcasts I listen to, Football Ramble and The Guardian’s Football Weekly.

  • Rob Parker

A listen is all we’re asking for, Stuart! That’s very esteemed company your putting us with. We’re hoping for a light-hearted bit of football banter which mirrors the content of the blog.

  • Nick

I’ll 100% be giving it a listen. I’m rather a fan of the World Football phone in. Tim Vickery is a genuinely insightful listen in a sea of averageness.

The same used to be true of Gavin Peacock on MOTD
