Mick McCarthy’s hilarious reaction to Cesc Fabregas’s nasty foul

Stop yo bitching

Even when Mick McCarthy’s Wolves players are on the receiving end of bad challenges he still likes to use it as an opportunity to defend past/future misdemeanours by his squad.

So when Cesc Fabregas made a reckless lunge on defender Stephen Ward there was no chance of Mick moaning that his player had been stretchered off, nor that Fabregas had only been booked. Instead he had this to say:

“I don’t mind tackling. What I don’t want is everyone else bitching about it when we do tackle. That’s what I can’t stand.”

You can see Mick talking bitching 1min 40secs into the video above.

If Mick had had a go about it, he would have shown the same continued hypocrisy of MOTD, who totally ignored another studs up over the top potential leg breaker by Henry on Arshavin, & a very poor challenge by Milijas on Song.

The former much much worse than Cesc’s & the latter more comparable.

MOTD also chose to gloss over that thug Robinson’s challenge on Fellaini, which caused the reaction that got him sent off. He not only kicks/knees Fellaini on the upper thigh/knee but treads onto his ankle. I have seen enough of Robinson at close quarters to know that was deliberate.

No one minds hard fair tackling & accept that poor or mistimed ones get yellows or reds but what is appalling is the number of recklessly dangerous assaults that can end careers, that often get totally missed.

What’s with the crash zoom at 1.58? Did the cameraman drop a bollock?
