It’s wheely not for me

“It’s funny, I was reading what I said about ending up in a wheelchair the other day and I thought to myself, ‘You know mate, that’s probably not your best plan’. I’d rather play with my kids in the garden, thank you very much. I hope people will appreciate that. I’d like to rethink the wheelchair idea, please.”

Erm, yeah. What he meant was that disabled people… Erm. It’s really brave that… Erm. No, you’re on your own, JT.

what did JT say the other day? and how do you know exactly what the guy mant to say?

  • morons

You idiots know what he said ‘the other day’ ? He said if it was up to him he will sacrifice his health and end up on a wheelchair to win trophies on the pitch…

Before the 2008 Champions League final he said he wouldn’t mind counting his medals in a wheelchair.

    C*ntish article from a c*ntish site!

I don’t exactly see what’s offensive about what he said? They guy just said that he wouldn’t like to end up in a wheelchair someday?

Offthepost is going down a slippery slope lately.

For starters, I’m pretty sure disabled people are allowed to play with their kids in the garden, Last time I checked anyway.

  • neil

Well there’s an implication that he means running around with his kids etc…

JT needs to realise 1) he is a thundering idiot and 2) it is safer for thundering idiots to keep their mouths closed.
