Stats the way, aha aha, I like it

2 – Bolton have now lost half as many games in the Premier League as Chelsea and Arsenal.

0 – Villa have played seven games against bottom half teams. They have not won a single game, and lost 2-0 to Blackburn yesterday.

28 – Number of combined goals scored by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in their last nine game each. Gareth Bale world class? Don’t make me laugh.

27 – Games unbeaten in all competitions for Manchester United.

5 – Chelsea have failed to score in five of their 14 games this season. They failed to score in only one in the whole of last season.

70 – Games without a goal for Pablo Zabaleta before Sunday’s game at Craven Cottage.

1 – Goal scored by Franco di Santo in his last 53 games. He’s a striker don’t you know.

24 – Games for Real Madrid managed by Jose Mourinho. His record: Won 18, Drawn 6, Lost 0

11 – Of Blackpool’s 14 games this season, 11 have had three or more goals. Only three of Everton’s have (and one of these was against the Seasiders).

17 – Games played by Wolves this season in all competitions. They have not kept a single clean sheet, and are the only side in the top five divisions in England to not do so.

And thanks to David Monaghan for sending in a ‘classic stat’:

18 – In the 2007/8 season, Middlesbrough scored 18% of their league goals in one game (8-1 vs Manchester City)
