Video: Cristiano Ronaldo denied a wonder goal by greedy Nani

Selfish footballer gets his comeuppance

Portugal thrashed world champions Spain 4-0 in their friendly last night. But it was very nearly five and the missing goal would have been the pick of the bunch.

Cristiano Ronaldo stitched Gerard Pique up like a kipper, doing him for pace before checking inside as the Barcelona defender slid past. Ronaldo then sent an exquisite chip over the head of Iker Casillas, giving the keeper no chance at all.

Portugal and C-Ron were ready to celebrate this glorious goal, only for Nani to leap like a salmon (it was a very fishy non-goal – kippers and salmon) from on offside position in an effort to poach the goal. He succeeded in getting his head to the ball, but it resulted in the goal being chalked off for offside.

Cue vintage Ronaldo hissy-fit.

I have no idea what the linesman or referee were thinking. Pique is quite clearly playing Nani onside.

    1. “Fat prick” Pique is playing Nani onside
    2. The ball looks like it was over the line before Nani touched it
    3. The referee’s a wanker
    4. ???
    5. Profit!

Nani has copied Ron’s hair and is trying to steal his goals. I think he should have a word.

anyhting that upsets Ronaldo is fine by me – he is one of the most disingenuous players on the planet. he’s a cheating prima donna who gets the hump if he doesn’t get his own way. Nani for man of the match? footballer of the year?

Time for bed Ponkhi. Under fours need their sleep.

Jesus, my three year old son spells better than you and also has a greater understanding of football.

I pray that you are also a toddler or there really is no excuse for that abomination of a comment.

    Night night.

Good to see he took the ref’s decision well though.
If you watch a replay from behind the goal, you can tell he doesn’t mean it, he just spoons the ball without looking.
